RISKS IN AGRICULTURE

We work the land and use growing practices implemented to reduce risk, there is still the chance that we will experience crop shortages and/or failures. Weather, pests, fire, etc. can all affect our growing season and the size of your CSA delivery. By supporting local agriculture, you understand you share in both the bounty and the risks of farming. We will do our best to supplement any lack of items, but please understand we are not responsible for these outside factors, and you understand the risk of such when signing up for your CSA Membership.

ISSUES WITH YOUR SHARE

We aim to provide quality locally grown products in each CSA share. Your CSA is best when picked up on time and leaving it sitting out in the sun or without proper storage can affect the freshness of your products. Please understand that our products may vary in color and taste, have a few spots, look a little funny or different from the ones in the grocery store, and you may find the occasional critter hopped along for the ride. These are all normal characteristics of direct from the farm products and what makes this experience unique. However, if you get your share and a product is visibly rotten or spoiled, please let us know within 24 hours and once verified, we’ll include something extra in your next share.
